Description

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is interested in identifying and pre-qualifying suppliers capable of providing COTS software at competitive prices well below current retail levels. In addition, the USPS wants to continue to use its electronic ordering tool, called eBuy, to purchase this distributed software through a reliable and efficient supplier. To be considered for pre-qualification, suppliers must meet all the requirements identified in the accompanying pre-qualification document and submit necessary supporting information and documentation as requested therein. Suppliers must address the criteria independently and in-depth. The USPS may reject any or all responses to this pre-qualification notice, and may waive informalities and minor irregularities in responses received. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS. This synopsis is published in order to identify and determine pre-qualified suppliers for the purposes of participating in a competitive acquisition. Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
