- THIS SOLICITATION IS RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS, AS A COMPETITIVE SET-ASIDE. This procurement is being advertised for one solicitation resulting in the award of one firm-fixed price contract. Southern Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command is presently seeking services for Control Inspection / Preventative Maintenance at the MCRC Galveston, TX. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 561210, Facilities Support Services. The Small Business Size Standard is $30,000,000.00. The scope of work includes all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide control inspections and preventative maintenance in accordance with contract requirements at the at the Marine Corps Reserve Center in Galveston, TX. The duration of services is not to exceed 365 days from the date of contract award. This contract will include a base year and four one-year options. There will be no future synopsis in the event the options included in the contract are exercised. No new work can be issued after one year following award of initial contract unless option year is exercised. Offerors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration, CCR, database with a DUNS number in order to participate in this procurement. RFP ISSUE/RECEIPT DATE - The Government intends to issue the Request for Proposal, RFP, electronically by posting it on the NAVFAC website, http://esol.navfac.navy.mil on or around January 6, 2006. Offerors must register on the Internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Proposals will be due on or around January 27, 2006. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. The government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any proposal.
