28---LINER, COMBUSTION---- SOLICITATION NUMBER FA8104-06-Q-0018, OC-ALC/LPKPB TINKER AFB OK 73145-3020. ITEM 0001 NSN: 2840-01-424-9906NZ; P/N: 4083062. ITEM 0002 NSN: 2840-01-421-9739. P/N: 408056 ITEM DESCRIPTION: LINER, COMBUSTION. APPLICABLE TO: F100-220/229 ENGINE. DESTINATION: FMS. DELIVERY: APRIL 2006. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. Complete date to manufacture this part is not available. This part requires Manufacturing and Processing Acceptance Data that is separate from the blueprint and not owned by the Government. This data is required by the manufacturing source to insure part reliability. Missing MCL data is not available and is not economically obtainable. OEM will not give or sell the missing MCL data. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 28 Nov 2005. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 28 Dec 2005. The solicitation will be available for download on the release date from www.fedbizops.gov. No telephone requests. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be sent from this office. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
