Description
This is a Sources Sought Synopsis ONLY. Requests for copies of solicitations will not receive a response. The Product Manager for Weapons of Mass Destruction-Civil Support Systems is conducting market research to determine which potential bidders w ould have the capability to provide Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Equipment (CBR) to be used by Civil Support Teams (CST's). CSTs have been developed and fielded by the Army National Guard to support civil authorities at a domestic chemical, biol ogical, nuclear, radiological or high explosive (CBRNE) incident site. This equipment must be able to sample, detect, and identify chemical warfare agents (CWA's), toxic industrial chemicals/toxic industrial materials (TICs/TIMs), biological warfare agent s (BWAs), and radiological materials. This equipment must provide personal protection from the CWA, BWA, Radiological, or TIC/TIM, and be able to decontaminate equipment and/or personnel from the CBR agent. Consumable materials such as reagents or gasses must be fully identified, as well as ancillary equipment even if manufactured by another vendor. Only those companies which have the capability to provide this equipment need send in information. No other specifications or information other than what is shown above is available at this time. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award. All sources that are able to provide this equipment should s ubmit their interest in writing to the contract specialist identified below. Information, at a minimum, should include: informational brochures, company name, address, telephone number, facsimile number, type of business (large or small) and point of cont act. Your company will be provided a user name and password within five (5) days after receipt of the above information, to access the questionnaire on the web. The Web based questionnaire will be ready for vendor input by 15 December 2005 and will close 16 January 2006.
