Description
DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA)SEEKING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST TO ACQUIRE A SITE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF MEDICAL CENTER The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) needs to acquire a site for purchase on which the Government may construct a VA medical center in the Orlando Metropolitan Area. VA will also consider acceptance of a donated site. VA will consider properties in the range of fifty (50) to one-hundred (100) contiguous developable acres. To be considered, the site must be within the following geographic boundaries starting at the South East corner and going North at the intersection of Interstate 4 (I-4) and State Road 532 in Osceola County: East of I-4 to intersection of I-4 and the Seminole/Volusia County Lines. South and West of the Seminole/Volusia County Lines to intersection of Seminole/Volusia County Lines to Orange/Brevard County Lines. West of Orange/Brevard County Lines to intersection of Orange/Osceola County Lines. North of Orange/Osceola County Lines to intersection of State Road 532 (Nova Road). West and North of State Road 532 to merge with Highway 192/441. North of Highway 192/441 to intersection with Highway 17/92. North of Highway 17/92 to merge of State Road 532 (Osceola Polk Line Road). North of State Road 532 to intersection I-4. Land should be within these boundaries. Other Requirements: 1) Site ownership must present free and clear title that does not contain any encumbrances unacceptable to the Government. 2) Full disclosure of any hazardous wastes or toxic materials on the site must be communicated to the Government in writing. 3) Easy access to the property via public transportation and major roadways must currently exist or be planned for the immediate future. 4) Appropriate utility service and road access must presently exist or must be presently approved or planned by the appropriate jurisdiction(s). VA staff will conduct a market survey of offered properties.
