PRON: AX6C0014AX, NSN: 1680-01-531-4234, PN: 352E2050-4 QUANTITY: Min: 20/Max: 100. This requirement is a Base Year Plus 2 200% Options Contract, applicable t o the CH-47 Airframe, with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This item is restricted to The Boeing Company Cage: 77272. Acquire, for the first time, directly from the actual manufacturer. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified sources (s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s) retain data r ights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activitys procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. A Contractor First Ar ticle is not required. Production Lead-time is 20 each, 180 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations b y accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of rel ease of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. All offerors must meet prequalificatio n requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. NOTES: 22, 23 and 26.
