Description
The United States Postal Service intends to award a Guaranteed Maximum Price cost reimbursable design build contract for the design and construction of a 830,000 sq. ft. processing and distribution center, a new 30,000 sq. ft. vehicle maintenance facility, and a 12,000 square-foot storage bldg with associated parking and maneuvering areas on a Postal Service owned 78 acre site. The site is located at 4025 West Reno, Oklahoma City. A preproposal conference will be held on December 20, 2005, at the Clarion Meridian Hotel and Conference Center located at 737 South Meridian Ave, Oklahoma City, OK beginning at 10:00AM. The estimated cost range for this project is $110,000,000 to $120,000,000. Total period of design and construction for this project will be 700 calendar days. A detailed scope of work for this project is included in the solicitation documents. This request for proposal is being issued only to prequalified design build contractors.
