Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS, intends to issue a sole source award to Service Argos Inc., under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for 1 lot of Argos services for location and data collection (basic) service for NAVOCEANO platforms. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 Acquistion of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract will be firm fixed-price. NAICS Code 514210 and Business Size of $21.0M applies. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Conbtracting Officer. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
