Description

The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment, and materials to Overhaul the Swashplate Cover. The furnished parts shall be either manufacturers original equipment or from an approved, qualified and/or engine ering test vendor. No surplus parts shall be used. The Input/Output NSN: 1615-01-062-6317, Input/Output P/N: 206-010-450-7. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a minimum quantity of 44 each and maximum quantity of 312 each including FMS quantity of 20%. Product Verification Audit is required for this item. The maintenance and overhaul shall be in accordance with the manufacturers blueprints/production drawings and specifications. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisf y Agency Requirements. This is a Critical Safety Item. The approved source is Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., (CAGE 97499). Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for this or future solicitations by contacting Marsha Brazelton, (256) 313-8965. Award will not be delayed to wait for additional sources to obtain source approval. All responsible sources may submit an offer that may be considered by the agency. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
