- Description
- This solicitation is hereby amended to incorporate the following: 1. The required delivery schedule is critical in ensuring that one (1) each ballast be available to the Coast Guard YARD prior to 02/01/06, 03/01/06, and 04/01/06 consecutively. However, delivery of all ballasts may be made together, provided that they arrive at the Coast Guard YARD prior to the first critical date of 02/01/06. 2. The following questions and answers are hereby provided: Question; Please clarify the packaging requirement for this material. Answer; Commercial packaging is acceptable. Normally, ingots are stacked and strapped to a pallet and covered with a plastic cover for safety. Question; Are there any dimensional tolerances on the part other than the variation listed for weight? Answer; The dimensions are firm. The ingots are poured through a mold that will keep the sizes the same. 3. The date and time set for receipt of quotes remains unchanged.
