Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico is seeking for contractor(s)/provider(s) to establish a consignment agreement to furnish cardio implant stents to be listed in the solicitation package. The consignment agreement would require the furnishing and maintenance of an inventory of cardio implants stents. Contract will be for an initial base period of twelve (12) months with four (4) option year’s periods for renewal subject to the availability of funds. The Government Reserves the right to exercise the option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423450 and the business size standard is 500 employees is applicable to this acquisition. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE at no charge at the Business Opportunities System (BOS) website <http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov>. by AUGUST 23, 2004. This solicitation will be available in ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY and the VA WILL NOT PROVIDE HARD COPIES. The solicitation number for this acquisition will be 672-477-04 and it will be a request for proposal (RFP). Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Once the solicitation is being posted, Offerors are advised that they are responsible to review and monitor this solicitation in the website.
