Description

This announcement constitutes Solicitation Number FA4801-06-T-0098, which will be issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). Anticipated award to be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Per FAR 36.204, the Magnitude of the Project is estimated to be in the following range: Less than $25,000.00. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAR 2005-06. This acquisition is to be set aside and awarded to a small business concern. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238290. The size standard is $12,000.000.00. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall remove and dispose an existing rolling garage door on the north side of Building 193 at Holloman AFB, NM. The CMU block wall opening here is approximately 18' wide x 16' high. The Contractor shall install a new rolling steel door in the opening. The new door shall be rated for wind loads of at least 20-psf (88 mph). The Contractor shall install a new electric operator for the door. The Contractor shall perform all the required electrical work necessary to install the door. PROJECT DETAILS: The Solicitation and other attachments will be posted on or before 1 December 2005 and MUST BE downloaded from FedBizOps at www.eps.gov; DO NOT REQUEST VIA MAIL OR FAX. IMPORTANT NOTICES: 1) RFQ submission must be in accordance with solicitation. 2) You will not be eligible to receive an award if you are not in the Central Contractor Registration Database. (Ref. DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration). 3) All Amendments, if applicable, must Be Acknowledged.
