Description

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), Intramural Research program (IRP, intends to procure on a sole source basis with AFFYMETRIX INC, 3380 Central Expressway, Santa Clara, Ca. 95051. The North American Industry Classification system Code is 325998 and the business size standard is 500. The supplies and services are being procured in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures authorized by FAR PART 13. Affymetix Inc. will supply the following: 1) p/n 900581 kit, Mendel sty assay qty 1 ea. 2) p/n 900582 kit, Mendel, nsp assay qty 1 ea. 3) p/n 520148 array, Mendel nsp. Qty 30 ea. 4) p/n 520149 array. ,Mendel sty qty 30 ea. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. This is a Simplified Acquisition with the estimated value of less than $100,000.00 threshold. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agency?s requirements. The basis for sole source is must be compatible with existing equipment. Response to this announcement, referencing synopsis number 24NIDAIRP2005, may be submitted to NIDA/IRP, bldg. C, room 130, 5500 Nathan Shock Drive, Baltimore, Md. 21224 or by fax/ email. All quotes must be submitted by close of business on December 12, 2005 by 4:00PM.and signed by an authorized company representative. All responsible sources my submit a response, which will be considered if received in a timely manner.
