Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. This is a synopsis for non-commercial items. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: 2,000 feet of tow cable. Detailed specifications will be made available with a formal request for quote. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-06-Q-0613. A firm fixed price is anticipated. Required delivery is 1 March 2006, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. Size standard is 1,000 employees. It is expected to place a purchase order with South Bay Cable. They are the only known source for these items because no other manufacturer can meet all of the necessary requirements. All other timely offers will be considered. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices. Estimated RFQ release date is 1 DEC 2005. Offers must be received by 2:00 pm on 13 DEC 2005.
