Description

NOTICE TO INTENT - to procure "Nutra Plus" fish food produced by Nutreco Canada Inc., Vancouver, Canada, for the Creston National Fish Hatchery, Kalispell, Montana. This diet meets all of the following performance and quality factors required for the Westslope Cutthroat Trout: Disease protection provided by an immuno stimulant additive; pigments that add brilliant coloration to the fish; pounds gained ratio resulting in vastly improved conversion over the past 2 years compared with other diets; low feed conversion for notably improved water quality; and reduction in pin heading due to the palatable feed with higher protein levels for dramatic growth improvement rates. Pellets and crumbles in selected sizes shall be delivered every few weeks in accordance with the established delivery schedule. Any interested parties must submit technical capabilities, pricing and other information that demonstrates its ability to meet the Government needs. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available.
