Description

The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Westec Services Inc., 541 South 50 St., West Richland, WA 99353 to acquire the following items: 1) Spectrum 90 Power Supply/Controller, rack mount - Part of the power supply was moved to the Spectrum 90 camera. 2) VT 150 Power Supply/Controller, rack mount, custom unit to include 4 track control. 3) AC powered tether reel for up to 2000 ft of VT 150 tether. 4) Distance enoder with video overlay, includes date/time & test entry 5) 2000 ft of VT 150 tether cable. 6) ME-AD-AAD0001-00 Aluminum Spectrum 90 PTZ video camera modifier per item 1. 7) ME-AD-AAJ0001-00 (2) 50 watt lights. 8) (2) VT 150 Parallel wiring harness, custom to include 4 track whips. 9) (2) VT 150 In-Line wiring harness, custom to include 4 track whips. 10) VT4370-5 VT150 Standard parallel chassis with Spectrum 90. The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government believes that there is only one responsible source will satisfy the agency's requirement. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Any firm that believes it can furnish the items described above is encouraged to give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished, in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. All responses received within 7 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should include the firm's business size [e.g. small business, other than small business] in accordance with the size standard: 500 employees for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 423410.
