Description

The contractor shall provide supervision and consultation to the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Program on every other Wednesday of each month for two (2) hour sessions required by the GME program director. The Contactor shall participate in teachin g seminars and discussions of consulation-liaision topics along with review of challenging clinical cases including bedside teaching. The residents supervised on the Consultation-Liaison Services are principally PGY-III residents of the TAMC Psychiatry Re sidency Program. The supervising attending on this service is Dr. Craig Holland. The provider at a minimum shall meet the national standards established by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), and the standards of th e American Psychiatric Association. This is a fixed price personal service contract. As a personal services contract, an employer-employee relationship between the Government and the individual healthcare provider exists. The healthcare provider is subj ect to the day-to-day supervision and control b the MTF personnel comparable to the exercised over military and civil service healthcare providers engaged in comparable work by the Chief, Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Service. The contract performance period will commence on January 1, 2006 through September 30, 2006 for the base period with four (4) option year periods through 2010. Option years shall include 12 months, with start dates of 01 October of each year through 30 Sep tember of the following year. Payments will be in quarterly amounts to be paid in arrears. Funding will be allocated annually in accordance with availability of funds. The solicitation will be available upon request on or about 28 November 2005. All quotes or proposed offers are due by 10:00 A.M. Hawaii Standard Time (HST) on or about 12 December 2005. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811219 and the size standard is $6M.
