Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Two each Modular Weapons Vault Systems for the Kansas Army National Guard (KSARNG)Facilities Engineering Office, 131 W 27th St, Topeka, Kansas 66611. This Request for Quote number is W912 JC-06-T-5700. NAICS code is 332312 Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing; size standard is 500 employees. Item will be delivered FOB Dest to the Armory at Manhattan, Kansas, 721 Levy Drive. The contractors quote offering the lowest priced technically a cceptable proposal received in response to this solicitation shall be awarded the contract. The requirement is for two each Modular Weapon Vault Systems. The systems must be compliant with AR 190-11 and each wall panel must be UL Sect M rated. The vault must be designed to be placed inside a building and use the existing mechanical systems (HVAC, electrical etc) of the building as supplied to the vault. Construction shall be a rough constructed concrete vault. The Kansas Army National Guard will be resp onsible to provide the HVAC system, electrical, IDS, and weapons racks. The Vault system consists of: MVS, Class M, 5 sided, 20x10x9, wt 57,000 lbs or greater, 2 HVAC ports, 4 conduit penetrations. Offer will include cost of installation to include cran e, setting of vault structure, leveling, caulking, labor, supervision and tools/equipment to complete work. The contractor is responsible to make himself familiar with the area for installation. A site visit can be requested by contacting COL Cliff Silsby at 785.274.1130. The offer will include freight cost of the system to Manhattan, Kansas. The system will include a vault security door with XO-9 lock, flanges, frame and jam; a dutch door day gate and door freight and installation; one year warranty on p arts and labor. Quotes will only be accepted from authorized dealers of the make and model of equipment offered. The contractor is required to submit all necessary information or catalogs, etc on the vault system in order for the system to be evaluated as to technical acceptability. The government will not request additional information, whatever is submitted will be evaluated for compliance to the above specifications. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions (2/2002) applies to this acq uisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (5/2002) applies to this acquisition. The clause 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003) applies to this solicitation. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items (11/2001), is a pplicable to this acquisition.
