- Description: See numbered note: 12 AND 26. 2530-01-407-3977, BRAKE SHOE SET, being bought in accordance with AM General (34623) P/N 57K0264. Total quantity required is 7700 sets going to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. Solicitation also requests price breaks for quantities up to 13,000 sets. This solicitation is an RFQ and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfq after the issue date 12/14/05. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, and past performance as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is 180 days. A written quotation is required. In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item 1, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certification electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement is now appearing in solicitations. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instruction and requirements in solicitation and contract awards.
