Description

This posting constitutes the United States Military Academy's notice of intent to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to Nylink, 74 North Pearl Street, Albany, NY 12246, for providing a one year service contract for OCLC/Nylink shared catal oging services utilizing the Academy's existing Integrated Library Systems software and hardware owned by the Government. Nylink is the only bibliographic utility service company that can provide the required shared cataloging services based on the size a nd prestige of the USMA Library collection. Award amount is estimated to be $78,555. The statuatory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy age ncy requirements. The applicable NAICS code is 518111 and the size standard is $21.0M. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers. Interested parties may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the ef fort in writing to the designated representative. Responses to this notice must be received within two(2) calendar days of the date of this notice via e-mail to Pamela.Jones@usma.edu. See Numbered Note 22. Insert 2 days in lieu of 45 days in Note 22. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, upon receipt of response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. There will be no solicitation available.
