Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, material, equipment, quality control, supervision, and all other items necessary to ensure floor restoration is performed at Mitchell Hall, Building 2350 at the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado in a manner that will maintain satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. The contractor shall accomplish all cleaning tasks to meet the requirements of this Statement of Work (SOW). The required work shall be performed during the period of 22 - 31 December 2005. January 2nd and 3rd 2006 shall be used to correct any deficiencies. Mitchell Hall, Building 2350 is available to work 24 hours per day during this specific period. Basic Services. The contractor shall complete half of the dining area, to include the staff tower, before starting the second half so that dining tables can be moved by the Mitchell Hall staff and stored from one side to the other. Floors shall be stripped of old wax down to the bare terrazzo. Existing floor wax shall be completely removed. Floor shall be clean of all floor finish and shall be thoroughly rinsed of stripper residue. Floors shall be sealed uniformly with no streaks. High traffic floor finish (Johnson & Johnson Premia or equivalent) shall be uniformly applied with no streaks. A minimum of eight (8) coats of floor finish shall be applied. Floor shall be burnished to a brilliant finish and uniform luster. Floor shall be free of voids, scratches and gouges.
