Description

The U.S. Army/Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP) seeks sources for commercial or production ready OSHA Level C suits (comparable to NFPA Class 3). The equipment is intended to provide prote ction to civilians in the vicinity of chemical stockpile sites in the United States in the event of a chemical agent related incident. This survey announcement is intended to identify existing mature suits (commercial off-the-shelf items are highly desired ). Written information must include the following: suit cost, testing previously done on the suit, suit material, point of contact, phone number, email address, time frame of attaining the suit. There is no commitment on the part of the government to awar d a contract as a result of the request for information or to pay for the information received. Interested sources shall submit information to the following address no later than forty-five (45) days after this posting to: stephen.skolnik@us.army.mil
