Description
NASA/MSFC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for NASA "Integrated Technical Standards System" (ITSS) at Marshall Space Flight Center. Potential offerors are encouraged to submit comments and/or questions on all aspects of the subject draft solicitation. If appropriate, the comments and/or questions may be incorporated into the final RFP. Questions or comments should not be marked as proprietary. Attachments will be uploaded with this synopsis. This notice is a combined synopsis/draft solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. (See attached Draft RFP). This announcement constitutes the synopsis as required in FAR 5.2 and is a Draft Request for Proposal (RFP). The anticipated release date of the final RFP will be on or about December 5, 2005. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than noon, CST, November 21, 2005. All contractual and technical questions must be e-mailed or faxed to Debbie R. Matthews at debbie.r.matthews@nasa.gov; fax number (256) 961-0059. Telephone questions will not be accepted. In addition, prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice and amendments (if any). All responsible sources may submit an offer in response to the final RFP which shall be considered by the agency. Offers received in response to the final RFP must include, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. The RFP will provide additional Instructions to Offerors. If the end product(s) offered will be other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin.
