Description
The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia is seeking proposals from business entities interested in participating in an unrestricted Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) commercial acquisition under FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items for NSN 4210-01-136-7617. Item is a Sensor, Fire Detector. Item is sole source to Kidde Technologies (05BU0) P/N 2600481. Solicitation SP0500-05-R-0066 is expected to be issued November 23, 2005 with an estimated closing date of December 23, 2005. The proposed acquisition is for a total estimated annual quantity of 578 EA, for approximately $530,600.00 per year. Delivery is to CONUS stock locations, destination inspection. Delivery schedule is for 210 days. The acquisition will be solicited as an IQC. The Minimum Ordering Quantity is 50 EA and the Maximum Ordering Quantity is 300 EA. The IQC will have a 2-year base with 3 one-year options. The solicitation will be evaluated with Past Performance and Price of EQUAL IMPORTANCE. This acquisition is for supplies that the government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore the government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304c(1).
