- Fed Biz Opps RFP notice The following Numbered Notes Apply: 1,9,26 This requirement is for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with one base year and a one year option term. The item is a security police, cold weather jacket, NSN 8415-01-305-4689 (s) , I/A/W MIL-DTL-31008 dated 22 Jun 2004. The minimum quantity for the base year and option year is 5,175 each year. The maximum quantity for the base and option year is 30,000 each year. Deliveries are FOB destination with a production lead time of 120 days at the rate of 1200 per month. All deliveries will be to New Cumberland, PA and Tracy, CA. Best Value/Tradeoff source selection procedures will be used. Product Demonstration Models, Experience/Past Performance and DLA Mentoring Program will be used as evaluation factors. The estimated solicitation release date is 1 December 2005. Offerors must submit Product Demonstration Models with their proposals or their offers will not be considered. Request for Proposal will SP0100-06-R-0020 will only be available through the Procurement Gateway. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation will be made available on the DLS Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home or http://12.3.216.20/home at time of solicitation issuance. From the Gateway homepage, select ?search RFQs? from the right hand sidebar. Then close the RFQ you wish to download and view these documents. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriation acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment?) impose restrictions on the DOD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
