Description
The United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC) has a requirement for a firm-fixed price requirements commercial item contract for the following commodities: Item No. 1: Calcium Hypochlorite, 65% chlorine content, granular, in 100-lb drums, 76 drums; Item No. 2: Calcium Hypochlorite, 65% chlorine content, 1" tablets in 100-lb. Drums, 48 drums; Item No. 3: Calcium Hypochlorite 65% chlorine content, 3" tablets (must be PPG tablets) in 55-lb drums, 504 drums. Delivery orders under the resultant contract will be issued orally by authorized Government personnel on an as needed basis. Payment will be by Government credit card. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to the International Boundary and Water Commission, Nogales Field Office, 865 Rio Rico Industrial Park, Rio Rico, Arizona 85648 within three to four days after receipt of an oral delivery order. The firm-fixed price requirements contract is for a basic one year period effective from date of award through September 30, 2006 with four (4) one year option periods to extend the term of the contract. The term of the contract shall not exceed five (5) years. The Government may accept any item or group of items of an offer, unless the offeror qualifies the offer by specific limitations. Offers may not be submitted for quantities less than those specified. The Government reserves the right to make an award on any item for a quantity less than the quantity offered, at the unit price offered, unless the offeror specifies otherwise in the offer. Estimated issuance of Request for Quotes (RFQ) IBM06Q0007 is November 30, 2005 and responses are to be received by 4:00 PM on December 16, 2005. Requests for RFQ IBM06Q0007 must be submitted in writing to the International Boundary and Water Commission, United States Section, 4171 North Mesa, C-100, El Paso, Texas 79902-1441, or facsimile to (9l5) 832-4192, or e-mail message to irmagurrola@ibwc.state.gov, no telephone requests will be accepted. Requests must include business name, point of contact, address, telephone number (include area code), and RFQ number. This requirement is not set-aside for small business concerns, all responsible sources, if timely received, shall be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 424690. The applicable small business size standard is 500 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 6810.
