Description

USAID/Benin intends to modify contract No 680-C-00-03-00045-00 with Creative Associates International Inc, 5301 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W., Suite 700, Washington, DC, 20015. The Modification will extend the current contract for approximately one year beginning on or about February 4, 2006 at an estimated amount of $1,300,000. The contract modification will enable Creative Associates International Inc. to provide further technical assistance to the Government of Benin to improve the quality of primary education, in particular the pedagogical system. In accordance with Numbered Note 22: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Therefore, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determination whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (30-AUG-2005).
