- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City (NSWC PC) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Colmek Systems Engineering, 2001 South 3480, Salt Lake City, Utah for the acquisition of ten (10) video recorders to capture neutralizer nose camera video for post mission analysis review by tactics personnel for the AN/ASQ 232 Airborne Mine Neutralization System (AMNS). AMNS will be integrated into both MH-53E and MH-60S helicopters. Colmek Systems Engineering designed and built the PMA station. Colmek is the only manufacturer of this video recorder. This video recorder is the only recorder that fits within the console accessory electronics compartment and accepts PAL video format. Most importantly this is the only device that can record on a media that can be viewed by HM-14 and HM-15 squadron personnel when forward deployed using existing AMCM equipment. In order for the video information to be recorded and displayed on Fleet equipment the Colmek video recorder must be utilized. Therefore, it is imperative that the Video Recorders are acquired from Colmek Systems Engineering.
