Description

In accordance with the procedures prescribed by OMB Circular A-76 (Revised May 29, 2003), this notification constitutes the formal Public Announcement and official start date of a Standard Competition of Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Geological Analysis Services. These Services include: geologic reconnaissance investigations, preliminary geologic investigations, detailed geologic investigations, as-built (construction) investigations, remediation investigations, engineering report input, watershed protection planning, emergency watershed protection, and other geological support. Services are required throughout the continental U.S., the Pacific Basin, and Caribbean, and are currently performed by 37.8 in-house FTE. The projected end date of this competition is not later than September 28, 2006. A solicitation is not yet available. The competitive sourcing Official is Dwight Holman and the Agency Tender Official is Larry Clark. Potential offerors are advised that this Standard Competition will be performed under a deviation granted by the Office of Management and Budget that enables NRCS to conduct this public-private competition of Architect/Engineer type Geological Analysis services. The procedures under which this competition will be conducted will be made available in a separate attachment subsequently posted to this same solicitation at this website.
