- SOLICITATION: FA85320577734 POC: Contact Sabrina. Sheridan, Contracting Officer, 478-222-1874, FAX 478-222-1854 DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number FA85320577734 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and will result in a Firm Fixed price contract. The requested delivery date is 30 days after delivery of order/assets on CLIN 0001 and 10 days after delivery of order/assets on CLINs 0002, 0004 and 0005. Award will be made on an all or none basis. Award date is expected to be not later than 30 Nov 2005. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15. The NAICS Code assigned to this project is 811212, the size standard is $21M. The contract line item numbers are as follows: CLIN 0001 ? NSN 7025-01-433-2708, Part # DLT4000 (Transport, Magnetic), Qty: 4 each, Ship to Robins AFB, mark for D4M REPAIR FLBR RIC. CLIN 0002 ? NSN 6130-01-291-8151JZ, Part # 1840 (Power Supply), Qty: 2 each, Ship to Dyess AFB TX and Robins AFB, mark for FLB RIC D4M REPAIR, MIL STRIP 466150900012. CLIN 0003 ? DATA (IAW DD Form 1423), Qty: 1 Lt. CLIN 0004 ? NSN 7025-01-255-1372, Part # BTRM926A-001 (Terminal, Data Proce), Qty: 1 LT. CLIN 0005- NSN 7025-01-292-0757, Part # D211 (Terminal, Data Proce). The contractor shall extend to the Government full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Government?s right under the inspection clause, nor does it limit the Government?s rights with regard to the other terms and conditions under this contract. In the event of a conflict the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the warranty. The warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the applicable deliverables listed in the schedule. The equipment shall be FOB Destination, Inspection & Acceptance at Destination and Commercial Item Inspection. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Jan 2005) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation ? Commercial Items (Jan 1999) - The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement; price. Offerors shall provide back-up information supporting the price offered. This could take the form of the most recent catalog price list, invoices from previous sales of same items, etc. The offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certifications ? Commercial Items (Jun 03) and DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications ? with its offer. The FAR Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items (Sep 2005) applies to this acquisition and will be incorporated into any resulting contract.
