Description

USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) proposes to issue a sole source award to Perkin-Elmer, 710 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton, CT, 06484-4794 for maintenance and repair of Government-owned, Perkin-Elmer equipment (atomic absorption spe ctrometers, liquids chromatographs, heated graphite atomizers, auto samplers, power supplies), manufactured by Perkin-Elmer. The contractor will provide routine and emergency repair and maintenance service. Since they are the manufacturer of the equipment, they are in a unique position to provide the required services. The award will be made for one year with option to renew up to an additional four years. A firm-fixed price award will be made utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Any other res ponsible source able to provide the services is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 15 days after its publication.
