Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting proposals under Solicitation No. VA-786-06-IB-0010 for the following services: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, material, and supplies necessary to provide janitorial services at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH. The period of performance shall be December 1, 2005 or date of award, whichever is later, through September 30, 2006 (base period) with up to four (4) one (1)-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2010. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions of the contract. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS Code is 561720. Size standard is $14 million. Requests for a hard copy of this solicitation must be in writing. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests should be addressed to Cheryl Harding, Contract Specialist, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, Centralized Contracting Division (41D3A), 5105 Russell Road, Quantico, VA 22134-3903. Requests for hard copy must! be accompanied by a cashier's check or money order in the amount of $25.00 (non-refundable), payable to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs." Please reference solicitation number VA-786-06-IB-0010 on remittance. Hard copy solicitations will be available on or about November 9, 2005, via the ordinary mail. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about November 9, 2005. Bids are due by 2:00 p.m., November 29, 2005. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. See Numbered Note 1.
