- Scope of Work (SOW) I. The following SOW for maintenance on a Solution 2000 Type 1 deionized water system at the Washington Aqueduct covers a base year and four Option Years beginning October 2005. II. The contractor agrees to provide the services and supplies listed in Section III to the Washington Aqueduct at 5900 MacArthur Blvd., N.W. Washington D.C. 20016-2514. A. Under the following terms: 1. Contractor shall make one (1) regular preventive maintenance call on a monthly basis effective date of the award. 2. Contractor shall inspect the equipment at each visit and make the necessary adjustments or repairs. 3. Contractor shall provide two (2) labor-free emergency calls 4. Emergency service will begin within twelve (12) hours of a request. 5. Contractor shall perform all work during its regular business hours on regular business days, except for emergency service. 6. It is understood that the portable exchange carbon and mixed bed tanks remain the property of contractor. B. Description of Equipment The reverse osmosis/deionized water system located at the Washington Aqueduct consists of the following equipment. 1. (1) NI-OA 44 Organic Absorption Carbon Filter 2. (1) Water Softener 3. (1) HR(PA)330 Orion Reverse Osmosis Unit 4. (1) Raven 100 Gallon Water Storage Tank 5. (1) Distribution Pump 6. (1) Sanitron Ultraviolet Sterilizer 7. (4) NI-MB44 Mixed Bed Deionizer 8. (1) Wall Mount 20 Post Filter Housing 9. (1) Thornton 770PC Resistivity Monitor 10. (1) RO-DI 11AU Solution 2000 Type I System III.
