- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD 20670-1463 is conducting a market survey for purpose of ascertaining the availability of existing Airborne Video Camera Systems. This request is for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. These Airborne Video Cameras should include the following characteristics: 1) Digital Airborne Cameras for any Navy Rotary and Fixed-wing aircraft, 2) Camera should operate as a standalone or as a distributed system (multiple cameras), 3) System connectivity of approximately 32 cameras, 4) Long recording times (7-10 minutes @30fsp/512x512 or 1024x1024 resolution), 5) Monochrome, 6) Variable recording speeds of 30, 100, 200, 400, 500, 1000, and 2000 fps (512x512 or 1024x1024 resolution, 7) Solid State storage memory preferred, 8) Camera or system should be able to output transmit Data (Images) to Ground Station, 9) C-Mount lens compatible, 10) 512x512 / 1024x1024 resolution preferred, 11) Complimentary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) Imager preferred, 12) Monochrome with Infra Red (IR) capability, 13) Environmental Requirements: Operational Temperature -55 DegC to +55 DegC Storage Temperature -55 DegC to +71 DegC Altitude Up to 50,000 Ft Humidity Up to 95% RH Acceleration -42Gs to +42Gs Vibration: Performance: 12.7 Grms. three Axes Endurance: 14.5 Grms, three axes Shock: Operational 20Gs, 6-9 ms Non-Operational 40 Gs, 6-9 ms Acoustic Noise: Operational 166 dB Non-Operational 172 dB THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NOR DOES THE GOVERNMENT INTEND TO PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS.
