Description

Requirements Contract for one base year plus 4 option years estimated quantity of approximately 60 transmissions per year to rebuild-repair Allison Transmissions MODELS HT 754 CRD, HT 740, HT 740 D, CLT 755 and CLT 754) for tactical wheeled vehicles: M915A1 Line Haul Tractor NSN 2320-01-125-2640; M915A2 Line haul Tractor NSN 2320-01-272-5029; M977 HEMTT Series, M1074/M1075 PLS and M1070 HET Trucks. Contractor must pick-up cores from and deliver the rebuilt-repaired unit to: TX-RSMS 748 E. MCLEROY SAGI NAW, TX 76179-4606. Offerors are notified that this acquisition is subject to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 15.3, Source Selection. Offerors must be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) and ensure the information posted is current. Potential Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for release on or about 18 November 2005. The solicitation and any related documents for this acquisition will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at Federal business Opportunitie s (FedBizOps) at http://www.eps.gov/. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. Potential offerors shall be responsible for monitoring the internet site for release of the solicitation, amendments (if applicable) and responses to any questio ns submitted in accordance with the solicitation procedures.
