- Description
- The contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment required for a Paving Requirments Contract to include a base year and one option year to repair, replace, or construct new paved streets, parking areas, curbs and gutters, associated storm drains, taxiways, aircraft aprons, and runway surfaces. Work can include: repair, overlay, and striping of existing pavement; construction of new pavement, base subbase, and striping; and rework of associated drainage systems, sodding, seeding, minor landscaping, and utilities associated with roadways, taxiways, aircraft aprons, runways, and parking areas at Malmstrom AFB, MT. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on or about 7 Jun 05. The RFP issuance date is an estimate, not actual, and the actual date can be before or after the stated date. RFP will close on or about 7 Jul 05. NOTE: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE TO MAKE PAYMENTS UNDER A CONTRACT. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITIATION, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER RFP CLOSING, WITH NO OBLIGATIONS TO THE OFFEROR BY THE GOVERNMENT. This acquisition is Unrestricted IAW the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The RFP is available by electronic transmission only. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet site: http://www.ccr.dlsc.dla.mil). Payment for tis acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) system, accessible at: https://wawf.eb.mil/. Potential contractors must also be registered in Online Representations and Certifications, accessible at: http://orca.bpn.gov/. The winter exclusion period, from 1 Dec – 1 Apr, applies to this Request For Proposal. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Award of this contract will be made utilizing the Price-Performance Trade-Off (PPT) technique, where past performance and price will be evaluated to make award. The resulting contract shall be a REQUIREMENTS CONTACT. NAICS code is 237310 with a size standard of $28.5 million.
