PRON: AX6F0014, NSN: 1680-01-091-8224, PN: 70400-01412-042, Quantity: 55 each applicable to the UH-60 Blackhawk. FOB Origin with delivery to New Cumberland, PA. Required delivery is 55 each 300 Days After C ontract Award (DACA). This item is restricted to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Cage Code 78286 because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design cap ability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source requires acquisition of the part from the approved source. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR (Comprehensive Automated Process for Source Approval Request) and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation mus t be processed through their respective embassies.
