- Description
- Engineering services in support of the J79 engine. This is an FMS requirement. A cost plus fixed fee or firm, fixed price type contract is being considered. Contract duration will be one (1) calendar year beginning 01 Jan 2006 with two (2) annual options. The approximate solicitation issue date is on or about 14 Nov 2005. Written documents will be utilized for this procurement. To: General Electric Aircraft Engines (CAGE 07482), One Neumann Way, Cincinnati OH 45215. No telephone requests. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered. Authority for using other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). Services required are only available from one responsible source and no other type of service will satisfy agency requirements. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the requirement are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the government. See Note 22.
