Description
7. Each CFT must act as an independent repeater”. Could you define the concept in operation? Concept of operation is the base operations center must know where the vehicle with the CFT is located when the system is activated. The CFT also must be able to show its location inside a city, such as Baghdad. Plus the location of other vehicles that have the same CFT system/code. 8. If there are satellite links (connectivity), what is the requirement for repeating among each CFT as in tandem? We want whatever the commercial standard requirement for connectivity among each CFT. 9. Are you looking for the same Commercial Force Tracking (CFT) system device for the PSD & Principle vehicles to be the same device that is for the Command and Control Center, or are you looking for the nine (9) total vehicles CFT devices to be the same and the 3 CFT systems for the Command and Control Center to be a computer based capability to be able to track the CFT vehicle devices? If you mean all twelve (12) CFT devices are the same, then will the Command and Control Center be a fixed location, a movable vehicle, or just have the capability to be able to move to different locations, set up and then be tracked, or are you desiring the device to be tracked while moving? Nine (9) for the vehicles and three (3) for the Command and Control Center to track the vehicle CFTs. 10. Will there be a separate fixed location that you will want all the devices to be able to seen? Is this the Iraqi Tactical Operations Center? If so will this center have a PC and an Internet access capability? The Command and Control Center will be a fixed location but at three different places because there are three different offices. Yes on computer and Internet access, however, you nee to specify what computer systems need to be compatible to your proposed CFTs. 11. Request clarification of the paragraph 1.3.1 Specific Scope, subparagraph c.! Be an independent system that be able to know where he is and where are the other vehicles… For a copy of the solicitation, please contact TSgt Billie P.
