Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to negotiate a noncompetitive contract with Glade & Grove Supply Co., Inc. due to the proximity of the vendor to The Florida Panther National Wildlife Refuge. This is the only known vendor within a reasonable distance which minimizes transport expenses. This procurement is for the purchase of a new engine and clutch assembly for a Holland TS110 Tractor. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S. C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. THIS NOTICE IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NOR A SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. All inquires and concerns must be addressed in writing to the facsimile number stated herein, Attn: Lewis Boggan. Responses to this notice must be received by October 18, 2005. If no responses are received, an award will be made to Glade & Grove Supply Co., Inc.
