Description

This is a Sources Sought announcement. The James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Tampa, Florida is performing pre-solicitation market research to determine potential business sources and set-aside possibilities for VA Project 673-04-166, Replace Air Handling Systems, Phase 9 (AC-10). Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, asbestos abatement, equipment removal, roofing & flashing, two new 100 ton AHU packages, ductwork, piping, insulation, controls, electrical work, lightning & fire protection work, and test/balance. The NAICS Code for this project is 238220. Project magnitude is $1 million to $2 million, and the performance period is 160 calendar days after issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Potential firms must demonstrate experience and knowledge of major mechanical systems and be a small business; or small business in one or more of the following categories: Service Disabled-Veteran Owned (SDVO), HUBZone, 8(a), Disadvantaged (SDB), Woman-Owned (WOSB), Veteran-Owned (VOSB). Responses to this announcement are due by close of business, Oct 28th, 2005. To be considered as a potential source, qualified sources must respond in writing to: Contracting Officer (90C), Attention: Benjamin Kosses, James A. Haley VA Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, Florida, 33612.
