Description

The VA Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Region (VISN6) Central Acquisition Service has a requirement to provide all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to perform quarterly preventive maintenance on five (5) Ohio Medical anesthesia machines, three (3) Modulus II, two (2) Aestiva/5 including all components; ventilators, vaporizers and six (6) gas monitors (RGM?s). Location is the VA Medical Center, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC. This announcement constitutes a sources sought notice. It does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Interested parties must submit capability information in writing via email or fax to Melissa Garrick, Contracting Officer, VA Medical Center, Building 4 Room 207, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301 no later than 3:00pm local time October 21, 2005. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with sole source procurement with Datex-Ohmeda, Inc. the only known source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
