Description
The purpose of this amendment is to clarify some questions posed. 1. Is there any preferred means of communications between the tracking devices and the command/control center? The system must have its own secure satellite link so they must have a secure link back to the command and control center. 2. Clarification of Requirement 1.3.1.f The system must have the ability for CADRG and GARMIN maps, to modify them and view changes. Question: Is this requirement to enable the use of PCO supplied mapping and if so can the requirement be met by the system supplying detailed maps of Iraq? System supplying detailed map of Iraq is OK. 3. Where will the training of users take place? In the IZ the location is to be determined later. However, the contractor must be prepared to provide three (3) separate training classes to train three Tier 2 AE staff personnel. 4. Where will the vehicle fitting out take place? At a maintenance bay of AMECO inside the IZ. 5. Where are the 'base stations' to be fitted, IZ, Government Buildings or other? At the Tier 2 AE offices inside of the IZ. For security, detail will be provided after the contract is awarded. 6. Do we only have 7 days for setup and delivery of the system? We would like to get everything install within 7 days after delivery. Plus 5 days for training after that. For a copy of the solicitation, please contact TSgt Billie P. Crockett at 703-544-1516 or email at billie.crockett@pco-iraq.net.
