Description
Subject acquisition is for an Architect Engineering (A/E) firm to prepare a Clinical Addition Exhibit Acquisition Application. It is the intent of this project to produce a successful and complete application package for submission to Veteran?s Administration Central Office (VACO) by January 31, 2006. Even though an established submission date has not been provided by VACO, it is anticipated that the submission documents will be requested at that time. Providing three (3) site visits to VA Miami to gather information from the various service stakeholders of the Clinical Addition. Technical staff from the A&E office will be available to meet and interview the service stakeholders as a fact finding mission to develop a design program. Work is to be performed for the Veterans Health Administration at the Medical Center in Miami, Florida. Work address is 1201 N.W. 16th Street, Miami, Florida 33125. Work hours are between 7:30 AM and 4 PM, Monday thru Friday with the exception of federal holidays. All work will be performed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) under the direction of the Veterans Administration Contract office in Building 1, Room 2A157. Selection will be based in the following criteria listed in the order of importance (1) Specialized experience in preparing VA Acuisition Applications: (2) Past performance with respect to construction estimating, construction alternative analysis, hospital program and space analysis (3) Professional qualifications of staff to be assigned to this project; (4) Professional capacity of the firm to perform the contemplated work within the required time limits: Firms, which meet the requirements described in this announcement, are invited to submit, three (3) copies of appropriate data on SF330, to James S. Hicks, Contract Specialist (90C), VA Medical Center, 1201 NW 16th Street, Miami, FL 33125 by 2:00 PM (EST) on Friday, October 21, 2005. Faxed copies are not acceptable.
