*************DRAFT 155MM M804A1 MPTS SYNOPSIS************* 13--Ammunition and Explosives HQ, AFSC, Rock Island, IL 61299-6500 13155MM M804A1 MPTS THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED ON THE WEB VIA FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES (FEDBIZOPS). NO PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION OR AMENDMENTS WILL BE ISSUED. No public announcement of any amendments will be made. Vendors are advised to periodically chec k the web page for new amendments or other updates. Any changes to the solicitation will be posted only to the website. All questions regarding this request for proposal (RFP) must be submitted to the Contract Specialist or Contracting Officer prior to t he closing date. Estimated date RFP release is on or about 17 October 2005 and closing will be approximately 30 days later. RFP will be restricted to US and Canadian producers under 10 USC 2304(C)(3). The technical data package (TDP) is Distribution D; a certified DD Form 2345, Militarily Critical Data Agreement or your certification number, must be furnished with your request for TDP. Send request for TDP along with valid Federal Express account number if expedited service is required to Paul.Bennett2@ us.army.mil. Otherwise, all requests for TDP will be sent via United States Postal Service (USPS). Please include with your request for TDP your complete mailing address and POC name, phone number and email address. Purchase Description: This solicitat ion is to establish a firm fixed price contract for a base with a 100% option plus three (3) 150% options for quantity of 8,997 each 155MM M804A1 MPTS NSN 1320-01-120-4573, P/N 9331795-19200. FOB: Destination, Crane Army Ammo Act, 300 Hwy 361, Crane, IN 47522-5099. Contractors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of any resultant contract. The Internet site for registering in the CCR is http://www.ccr.gov/.
