Description
This project consists of the maintenance and servicing, spring start-up and winterization of the Aircraft Fire Training Facility on Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. This contract will consist of one basic year with four option years. A Firm Fixed Price contract with a base and four one-year options is anticipated. The NAICS Code is 561210 and the size standard is $30M. The FSC Code is 8744. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 4 Oct 2005 on the FedBizOps posting system. It is anticipated that a site visit will be held on or about 12 Oct 2005. The name, date of birth, social security number, and drivers license number will be required to be submitted for individuals planning on attending the site visit no later than COB 7 Oct 2005. No paper copies of this solicitation will be available. This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS concern in accordance with (IAW) the FAR Clause at 52.219-6, ?Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside (Jun 03)?applies. Award will be based upon best value to the government considering price and price related factors. All contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to any contract award. Registration can be accomplished at the following Internet site: http://www.ccr.gov. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: Any award resulting from this solicitation will include DFARS Clause 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. Section 1008 of the National Defense Authorization Act of Fiscal Year 2001 requires any claims for payments (invoices) under DoD contract to be submitted in electronic form. Wide Area Workflow-Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) is the DoD system of choice for implementing this statutory requirement. Use of the basic system is at no cost to the contractor. Contractors must complete vendor training, which is also available at no cost, at http://www.wawftraining.com. Prior to submitting invoices in the production system, contractors must register for an account at https://wawf.eb.mil/.
