Description
STATEMENT OF WORK Contractor will provide maintenance services, as outlined below, for the Fort Meade Motorola Smartnet II Trunking system that is installed in building 3900. Additional equipment to be included under this contract are: The systems watch terminal and suppo rting equipment in room 103, building 1978, and the two dispatch terminals located in building 2286. The Smartnet II trunking system uses proprietary software. Any vendor that is awarded this contract, other than Motorola, must coordinate with Motorola to purchase the use of their software and obtain any license agreements that are necessary. This expe nse will be borne by the company that is awarded this contract. GFE: The Government maintains spare circuit boards, software and other components that facilitate the repair of the radio system. The contractor is required to repair or replace any components that are used in the repair or maintenance cycle. Contractor must provide all tools, spectrum analyzers, and other equipment that is necessary to diagnose, repair and restore the radio system to normal operating status. Contractor must respond to system outages within four hours of notification. The contr actor is required to provide all phone numbers for trouble reporting within ten days of award of contract to the installation radio manager at 301 677-1025/7477. Contractor must perform an annual preventive maintenance (PM) and system analysis of the infrastructure. All system components that encompass the Motorola Smartnet II radio system in building 3900 will be included in the annual maintenance schedule. This PM will be coordinated by the systems radio manager and the contractor. This annual PM will be scheduled between normal work days, 0800-1600 hours. The COR will coordinate all other repairs and inspections with the vendor. All equipment that compromises the base Smartnet II radio system is in good operating conditions. The proposed contractor may inspect any system component prior to award of a maintenance agreement. Contractor access will be an administrative responsibility of the COR for this contract. All personnel that perform maintenance under this contract must be approved by NSA and granted access by issuance of a campus badge.
