- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation, number FA8601-05-T-0286. COMPLETE PROPOSAL PACKAGES, INCLUDING PRICE PROPOSAL, AND REPS AND CERTS MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN 9:30 A.M. EDT ON TUESDAY, 27 SEPTEMBER 2005. PROPOSED ACQUISITION IS UNRESTRICTED, FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Acquisition is for the purchase of video cameras and accessories for the Base Multimedia Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. These are commercial commodities to be procured for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. No hard copies will be sent. FA8601-05-T-0286 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and is being conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2001-24, Effective 19 Jul 2004 + Class Deviation 2004-o0001. PROPOSED ACQUISITION IS UNRESTRICTED, FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Responding parties must indicate their business size status in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 423410, Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 5043 (size standard 500 employees). Businesses providing quotes must also identify and address if they are a large, small, 8 (a), woman owned, Hubzone, or otherwise classified as a small disadvantaged business in their responses. Proposal packages should include price proposal for delivery of proposed items to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, 45433 (FOB Desination), indicate availability date for delivery.
