NASA/GSFC has a requirement for the following items and specifications: 1. G Package Vacuum compatible Center wavelength: 808 nm +/- 3 nm @ case temperature of 25C Spectral Bandwidth: <= 3 nm Array threshold current: <= 25 amp Array drive current: <= 115 amp Efficiency: >=45% Pitch: = 400 microns 2% duty cycle operating at 200 microsecond pulsewidth @ 100 Hz. Lifetime: > 1 billion shots (<20% laser diode output power drop with a constant drive current) 2. QTY SIX (6) 500W QCW LASER DIODE G-5 Diode Array QCW, Conduction Cooled Laser Diode Arrays. 500 W Peak Power, (5) 100 Watt QCW Diode Bars. Lifetime: > 1 billion shots (<20% laser diode output power drop with a constant drive This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This request is for full and open competition. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice. Offers for the items described above are due by September 26, 2005, by 4:30 p.m. local time to Lisa Martin by email lmartinpop200.gsfc.nasa.gov or fax 301 286-1720. Vendors must include solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, and proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN),identification of any special commerical terms and be signed by authorized company representative. Offerors to use the Standard Form 1449, Soliitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Item s form found at URL: http://server-mpo.arc.nasa.gov/Services/NEFS/NEFSHome.tml Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (JAN 2005), Instructions to Offerors-Coomerical, which is incorporated by reference. FAR 52.212-4 (OCT 2003)Contract Terms and Conditions-Commerical Items applicable FAR 52.212-5 (APR 2005), Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commerical items is applicable and the following identified clauses are incorporated by reference; 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52-222-26, 52-222-35, 52.222-35, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52-222-37, 52.225-1, and 52-232-34. NASA FAR Supplement clause: 1852.204-74 CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION; 1852.223-72 safety and health (SHORT FORM): and 1852.225-70 Export Licenses are also incorporated by reference. Selection and award will be made in accordance with FAR 15.101-2, award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror, with acceptable past performance. Technical acceptablility will be determined by review of information submitted by the offeror which must provide a description in sufficient detail to show the product offered meets the Government's requirement. Offers must include completed copies of the provision at 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items with their offer.
