Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotations number USSS073176 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-27. This action is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 334111 and the small business employee size standard is 1,000. The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) has a requirement for the following: Line Item 0001- Manufacturer Part No. 1001RPEM-RAC, Redundant AC Entry Module for Model 1001 Telco Rack System by Patton Electronics, quantity of 3 each; Line Item 0002- Manufacturer Part No. 2168RC/L, Local Multirate Ethernet Copperlink Ethernet Extender Rack Car by Patton Electronics, quantity of 48 each; Line Item 0003- Manufacturer Part No. 2168/R/120, 16.67Mbps Multi-Rate CopperLink Ethernet Extender Remote US PowerCord, quantity of 64 each. The Government intends to award a firm, fixed price purchase order to the responsible offeror whose proposal, conforming to the Request for Quotation as provided herein, is lowest price. The Contractor shall deliver the complete quantity, FOB Destination, with all freight included in the delivered price, within twenty (20) days of purchase order award. Delivery to Communications Center ? Technical Security Division (TSD), 843 Brightseat Rd (Rear Entrance), Landover, MD 20785. The following FAR Provisions and Clauses are applicable unless otherwise noted: 3052.209-70, Prohibition on Contracts with Corporate Expatriates; 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation ?
